Description

Leveau (1977) discusses the possible location of this Roman fort on the basis of itinerary sources and prior modern scholarship, concluding only that it must have been near the Oued Damous and its mouth. Potter (BAtlDir) echoes this assertion, but ventures to place a hollow symbol on the map at a location in the vicinity of modern Sidi el Kassadi. No archaeological site corresponding to this toponym has yet been identified.
